Session Guidelines

Colin Grey Photography is an artistic studio with an established style and creative approach. By booking a session, the Client acknowledges and trusts Colin’s professional vision. The Photographer retains full artistic control over the nature, number, and style of images captured.

Clients must arrive fully dressed, prepared, and ready to begin at the scheduled start time. Sessions start and end promptly as listed. Colin aims to capture the natural essence of you and your family—please ensure children arrive clean, well-groomed, and appropriately styled.

Payment

A non-refundable retainer of $250 is required to reserve your selected date and time exclusively. The remaining session balance is due 4 days prior to the session.

Payments for retainers and session fees may be made via Venmo or Zelle. Online print orders can be paid with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

Cancellation

If the Client requests to amend or cancel the session 4 or more calendar days before the session date, the retainer may be applied to a mutually agreed-upon rescheduled date, and any additional payments will be refunded.

If the Client cancels 3 or fewer days before the session or fails to attend, the retainer is forfeited. The session fee may be applied to a mutually agreed-upon rescheduled date.

Rescheduling & Late Arrival

Sessions rescheduled with 4 or more days’ notice will have their retainer applied to the new date. All rescheduled sessions must take place within the same calendar year. Clients who arrive late will have the late time deducted from their scheduled session duration.

Session Termination

Colin Grey Photography reserves the right to end any session if the Client fails to follow the session guidelines, if subjects are unwilling to participate, or if any individual behaves inappropriately. Reshoots are offered solely at the Photographer’s discretion.

Exclusive Photographer Policy

Only the individuals being photographed may attend the session. Parents or guardians present are asked to follow all Photographer instructions and refrain from interfering with the creative process.
Use of personal cameras, phones, video equipment, or any recording devices during the session is strictly prohibited.

Online Gallery

Final images will be presented in a password-protected online gallery. All digital image selections must be made within this timeframe and will be delivered via email.

Copyright Information

All images created by Colin Grey Photography are protected by U.S. Copyright Law. Reproduction, including copying, printing, screenshots, or digital duplication—is strictly prohibited without written permission. By booking a session, the Client grants Colin Grey Photography a royalty-free, fully paid, and irrevocable license to use images for portfolio, marketing, advertising, and artistic purposes at anytime.

Liability

Colin Grey Photography is not liable for any failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its control, including weather, acts of God, government restrictions, or equipment/software failure. In the rare event of technical issues that prevent the delivery of images, liability is limited to the return of all payments received.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the custom nature of photography sessions and digital products, all sales are final.
